Tribal Banshees-

We are delighted to announce that the Tribal Banshees will be performing in our September show! They are a Tribal style belly dance troupe based in Gillingham Kent who practise American Tribal Style (ATS) and Tribal Fusion. The troupe was formed in 2004. Nicky who runs the troupe along with Charlotte says ‘We are varied in age and personalities but that's the best bit, we are like a delicious cake with lots of lovely ingredients in it. ’

We cannot wait to see these lovely ladies dance at Shimmy-Licous!

Katrina

Katerina will be dancing with some members of their dance troupe Yasirah.
They train at Dia Danca in Magdeburg in Germany. The group have been dancing together for over 6 years and performing professionally at many venues in Germany which also includes their very own dance show at the Theatre.
Their style is a mix of Turkish and Egyptian with a modern influence.

Guest Performers
Lyn Bywater with her group Alimah

After the fantastic reception of their stunning dance ‘Amber Oriental ‘at our June Shimmy-Licious Alimah will be back again to perform their brand new Hagalla Dance. Lyn has taken over teaching the group since April 2009 and is a passionate and respected dancer fully trained in Egyptian style.

They are a mixed age group and enjoy not only dancing together but are also very close friends which is why their performances radiate unity, celebration and are extremely joyful to watch.
