Belly Dance Odyssey is a full length show performed by Sitara and The Eastern Roses, alongside Sitara Dance students and special guest groups. Belly Dance Odyssey - The Quest for the Precious Stone, was held at The Towngate Theatre, Basildon, in April 2011.
After the success of this, ideas for a sequel show started developing, and in September 2015 at The Civic Theatre, Chelmsford, Belly Dance Odyssey 2 - The Magic Lives On, was performed with even more dances, spectacular costumes, and mythical creatures!
Both shows have been professional filmed and edited to produce beautiful and captivating DVDs.
Belly Dance Odyssey - The Quest for the Precious Stone
The DVD tells the enchanting story of how a precious stone is stolen by a dark stranger at a Great Masquerade Ball. The show takes you on an exciting and emotional journey around the world told through the ancient art of sensational belly dance performances. The mischievous Sphinx sends our Pharaoh Narrator on a quest through Egypt, Spain, Turkey, India, Tahiti and the dark tribal underworld in order to recover the precious stone.
Expect spectacular choreography, stunning costumes and breathtaking diverse performances- a mystical magical experience.
